On July 4th 2024, Jose Nazar and Kathleen Martinez Nazar hosted an Independence Day Celebration for the Laurel Canyon community that was attended by hundreds of appreciative Canyon residents. We Are Laurel Canyon and the residents of Laurel Canyon would like to acknowledge the Nazars for their generosity, and also for their dedication to fostering a true sense of community here in Laurel Canyon.
This is just one of many events the Nazars have hosted for their Laurel Canyon neighbors at The Houdini Estate or Skyline over the last decade. Jose and Kathleen's commitment to public safety, community building, and the arts is the very heart and soul of Laurel Canyon.
